Black Violin

Two-time Grammy-nominated Black Violin is an innovative fusion of classical sounds and hip-hop beats. This groundbreaking duo features Kev Marcus on violin and Wil Baptiste on viola and vocals who combine their classical training and hiphop influences to create a distinctive sound described as “classical boom.” They have boldly merged centuries of music, uniting audiences with a message of hope and illustrating creativity and determination for the next generations. Black Violin transports audiences to a place where Mozart, Marvin Gaye, and Kendrick Lamar harmoniously coexist in immersive sound.
