A Tribute to Scotland
Mendelssohn | Bruch | Davies

Mendelssohn Symphony No. 3 “Scottish”
Bruch Scottish Fantasy
Davies An Orkney Wedding, with Sunrise

Guest Artist: David Taylor, Violin

This is Scotland as you’ve never heard it! An orchestral journey brings Scotland to life in three strikingly different pieces. Mendelssohn’s beloved “Scottish” symphony captures the grandeur of ancient ruins and windswept landscapes. Scottish Fantasy is a virtuosic showpiece woven from traditional Scottish tunes. Davies’ beloved showpiece captures a raucous island wedding heralded by a live bagpiper. Come hear Scotland in full musical color.
