Aida is an English schoolteacher in Bosnia, but in 1995 she is employed by the United Nations as a translator. When her hometown that was designated as a UN safe haven falls under the occupation of the Serbian army, Aida with her family and 25,000+ citizens seek shelter at the nearby UN Dutch battalion base. As things begin to fall apart, Aida must react to find a way to rescue her family. Based on the historical events of the Bosnian War in 1995.
