Lee R. Kesselman, Director

Chamber Singers specialize in vocal chamber music of all periods with particular emphasis on Renaissance madrigal and motets, music of the 20th century, and the music of many cultures. Contemporary music includes major composers, avant-garde music and arrangements of folk, ethnic and popular music.

About the Director: Lee R. Kesselman has been the director of Choral Activities at COD since 1981. Conductor, pianist, teacher and award-winning composer, he directs the DuPage Chorale, New Classic Singers, Chamber Singers and Concert Choir. He serves as Director of Choral Activities at College of DuPage. In demand as a guest conductor and clinician, Kesselman has conducted Dominick Argento’s Postcard from Morocco for OperaWorks! in Madison, WI. A member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and receipient of 20 consecutive ASCAP awards, Kesselman’s compositions have been published by Boosey & Hawkes, Roger Dean Music, Colla Voce and Kesselman Press.
